Stephanie Lee2018 Summer Program Leader
A Marin Horizon alumna (’07) who always comes back to her second home, Stephanie Lee is intimately familiar with Marin Horizon School and with many of our students. She has been their camp counselor at Redwood Glenn, a chaperone on many of our outdoor education trips, a substitute math teacher in the Middle School, and an alumna speaker at Moving On. She is now in her third year as a middle school math teacher in the East Bay. A Division I student athlete and graduate in Mathematics and Chemistry from St. Mary’s College of CA, Stephanie has always maintained her love of the Spanish language. As a student, Stephanie had the opportunity to study in Spain and is thrilled to be able to guide students as they further their Spanish Panamá and become immersed in a new culture. In her free time Stephanie coaches, dances Hula & Ori Tahiti, and enjoys spending time with her family. We are thrilled to welcome Stephanie to the ¡Hola! program as Team Leader on our 2018 summer trip.
As a summa cum laude graduate and Division II athlete from California State University, Chico, Stephanie Aschenbrenner brings along 8 years of coaching, teaching and travel experience. Throughout her career, she has been involved in extensive academic and athletic trips with students. She was first bitten by the travel bug when she packed her things and moved to Italy to become an Au Pair. She has continued that love of travel in both work and pleasure which most recently involved multiple cross country trips organizing middle school and high school sporting events. She is eagerly looking forward to chaperoning our students during their adventures in Panamá! In her free time, you will find Stephanie always being active with her significant other, Nolan, and their travel cat, Butters.
